Canon Creative Park: The Endless Adventure
Turning the endless hours at home into endless adventures
2020 took the world by surprise, but it was especially challenging for families locked at home.
To help them cope with the situation, we invited them to turn the endless hours at home into endless adventures — by creating Canon’s first collaborative children’s book together.
By choosing and assembling a paper animal from Canon’s Creative Park platform, parents and kids from nine European countries selected the characters in “The Endless Adventure” — a story that brought people together, even when the world was closed.
Written by the established children’s book author and illustrator, Denitza Deslandes, it was turned into a widely available e-book and a hard-copy book. The campaign started on April 16th, 2020, through a stop-motion teaser highlighting the adventures of the paper animals.
The campaign ran on the Facebook channels of nine European countries and was spread through influencer communication, engaging numerous families during the challenging lockdown period.
We proved that when the world opens a new chapter, the best you can do is make a great story out of it.
